Message from HOD

I welcome you to the Grand department of Applied Sciencess and Humanities, Invertis University, Bareilly. The department covers vast areas of study. We have graduation, postgraduation and doctorate in foundations of knowledge – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, English, Psychology & Economics.

Here our students get an advanced and state of the art exposure to these foundations. Our methods focus on Critical thinking, communication, creative problem solving, self-expression, innovative research, and lifelong learning—all skills a liberal arts degree emphasizes—and that are central to a great career and a well-lived life. A liberal arts degree prepares students for a life of learning. Steve Jobs had stated, “It's in Apple's DNA that technology alone is not enough. It is technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities that yield the results that make our hearts sing." Mark Bertolini, CEO of Aetna, Inc., says “I’ve seen many an actuary and many an engineer who are brilliant, but they fail in their ability to communicate or commercialize an idea because they can’t relate to the people they’re dealing with. The major I’m less concerned about; it’s the set of skills that people come into work with.” Dedicated to the free and open pursuit of knowledge for its own sake, a liberal arts and humanities education provides a multi-faceted view of the world. It instructs us to base our opinions on reason, not emotion. With internationalization and globalization we can’t live in silos and we have no option but to use English as the main language for communication. That’s why we are so keen for our students to excel in this field.

We have a dedicated CRC cell to train and provide best opportunities for placement and career growth in varies walks of life and our Alumni stand proud as evidence of the education and training they receive.

Good luck with your intellectual life and career pathway!
