Overview
The Department of Fashion Design organizes the annual fashion show for the students of fashion
design namely Minor Project and Graduation Design Collection. In this students explains the
complete
process of design development and the presentation of their collection to invited trade
audience. It
is done to fulfill the requirements of latest industry & fashion trends.
Research/Design project in the Department of Fashion Design focuses on a variety of topics
related
to the fashion industry. These include research/design projects on apparel design, textiles,
trends
and fashion marketing. The department is also engaged in research/design projects on sustainable
fashion and fashion technology. In addition, research/design projects on the correlation between
fashion and culture is also conducted. Research /design projects also explore the impact of
fashion
on society, as well as the influence of fashion on the economy.
