Management, as Convenor, along with Dr. Prabhat Kumar Sharma and Dr. Alok Mishra as Co-Convenors.
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) featured a series of insightful and hands-on sessions led by
distinguished experts. The programme commenced with Dr. A. K. Chauhan, Director of FPM at UBS Mumbai and a
visiting faculty member at premier institutes such as MDI, IMT, NMIMS, and IIFT. Over two days, he provided
comprehensive training on Qualitative Research Methods, covering content, image, and video analysis, as well as
practical exposure to NVivo software. Participants gained valuable experience in importing and analyzing social
media data, coding and thematic analysis, and interpreting qualitative results. From July 16th to 17th, Dr.
Shailesh Kaushal, Associate Professor at the University of Lucknow, led detailed sessions on Quantitative
Research and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS. His sessions focused on hypothesis testing,
mediation and moderation analysis, interpreting model fit indices (CFI, RMSEA, GFI, SRMR), and evaluating output
metrics like R², F², and Q². Live demonstrations and hands-on exercises enabled participants to
understand SEM applications in real-time. On July 18th and 19th, Mr. Rohan Jugran, Head of Customer Success at
Cesim, introduced participants to the business simulation pedagogy. Through micro-simulations and boardroom
strategy rounds, he offered experiential learning on decision-making, strategy implementation, and instructor
dashboard usage. The final day included classroom facilitation techniques and performance monitoring strategies.
The FDP adopted a diverse methodology including Lectures, Presentations, Software demonstrations, Participatory
exercises, and Case discussions, enabling participants to strengthen both their research and teaching
capabilities. The programme significantly enriched faculty knowledge in advanced research tools and experiential
pedagogy, fostering a robust academic and analytical mindset.
