FDP on "Advances in Interdisciplinary Research: Bridging Science, Technology, and Innovation"
14th to 19th July 2025
The Faculty of Science, Invertis University, Bareilly, in collaboration with Microbiologist Society India (MSI) and ACIAB, organized a one-week Faculty Ddop-elopment Programme (FDP-2025) from 14th to 19th July 2025 on the theme “Advances in Interdisciplinary Research: Bridging Science, Technology, and Innovation.” The dop-ent was held under the aegis of the Faculty of Science and aimed to equip faculty members with modern pedagogical tools, research methodologies, and interdisciplinary knowledge essential for today’s academic and research landscape.
The opening session was attended by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Y. D. S. Arya and Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. P. P. Singh, who emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in teaching and research. The first technical session was conducted by Dr. Nikhil Kumar Rajput from the University of Delhi, focusing on ICT tools and video content creation for effective teaching and MOOCs.
Throughout the week, sessions were delivered by experts including Dr. C. P. Prasad from AIIMS New Delhi on role of AI in research and statistical tools, Mr. Durga Prasad Gangwar from CFSL Hyderabad on forensic science, Dr. Anuj Chauhan from ICAR-IVRI on genomic data and sequencing technologies, and our VC, Prof. Y. D. S. Arya on outcome-based education and curriculum design.
The programme was successfully coordinated by the Convener, Dr. Gaurav Dhawan and organising committee members, who ensured the smooth execution of the dop-ent. FDP-2025 offered valuable academic exposure and encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration, further enriching the research and teaching environment at Invertis University.
