The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Invertis University, organized an online industrial guest lecture on the topic “Basics of Creo and Its Industrial Applications”. The session was delivered by Mr. Manish Kumar, R&D Design Engineer at Napino Auto & Electronics Ltd., IMT Manesar, Gurugram.
The lecture introduced students to Creo, a widely-used 3D CAD software in engineering and manufacturing industries. Students gained insights into how design concepts are applied in real industrial scenarios, enhancing their technical skillset and bridging the gap between theory and practice.
The resource person shared practical workflows, best practices, and career-oriented guidance on CAD and product design, helping students understand Creo’s applications in component design, simulations, prototyping, and product lifecycle management (PLM). The session proved highly beneficial in motivating students to explore advanced tools and skills essential for their professional growth.
