The MBA Department of Invertis University organized an insightful industrial visit to Dabur India Ltd.'s Pantnagar facility. A total of 60 students, accompanied by faculty members, participated in this visit to gain hands-on exposure to the functioning of a leading FMCG manufacturing unit.
The students observed the production processes of Ayurvedic medicines, food items like juices and honey, and personal care products such as Dabur Red toothpaste and Gulabari rose water. They were introduced to quality control systems, Total Quality Management (TQM), sustainability initiatives like solar energy usage, and advanced supply chain management practices.
The visit included interactive sessions with plant managers and engineers, providing valuable real-world insights and industry exposure. The students also learned about Dabur’s commitment to innovation, hygiene, and operational excellence.
This visit significantly contributed to enhancing the students’ understanding of manufacturing, branding, and business operations, bridging the gap between classroom concepts and industry practices.
