The Department of Law, Invertis University, organized a captivating guest lecture on “Science Meets Law: The Role
of Forensics in Delivering Justice” on 9th September 2025. The session was led by Mr. Satyam Srivastav,
Assistant Professor of Forensic Science, Invertis University, who emphasized how forensic science serves as a
bridge between investigation and judicial decision-making.
The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Reena Jaiswal, Dean – Law, and Prof. Shaukat Ali, whose presence added
immense value. Students from BALLB, BBALLB, BCOMLLB, and LLB programs enthusiastically participated in
discussions on DNA profiling, fingerprint analysis, cyber forensics, and real-world challenges of admissibility
of evidence.
Interactive case examples and a lively Q&A session made the lecture highly engaging, leaving students with
valuable insights. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks, marking the session as both inspiring and
