Revolutionizing Fashion with Design Thinking
The Department of Fashion Design, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (An Initiative of the
Ministry of Education) and Invertis Innovation and Incubation Foundation, successfully organized an Expert Talk on
"Revolutionizing Fashion with Design Thinking" on 30th January, 2025 at the Incubation Centre.
The session was conducted by Mohd. Talha Khan, Director, Industry Partnership at Invertis University, who shared his
valuable insights on the role of design thinking in transforming the fashion industry. He emphasized how creativity,
problem-solving, and innovation are key to staying ahead in the dynamic world of fashion.
The event featured engaging discussions and brainstorming activities, allowing students to explore new perspectives
and apply design thinking principles to real-world scenarios. The interactive session enabled participants to gain
practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of industry trends. The session concluded with Prof. P.P. Singh, Dean
Faculty of Sciences, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker.
